Paragraphs: stepping stones through the argument

This week, RLF Consultant Fellow looks at how paragraphs function when you are making an argument, using the metaphor of stepping stones across a river. One things is certain: paragraphs have to link together smoothly so that you can move easily from one step to the next without falling in the river. The only way to achieve this is by making a thorough plan before you start writing.
